Monmouth County Living (MCL) is a Real Estate Investment & Management Company with a specific focus on properties in Monmouth County, NJ. Our principal focus is the acquisition and management of multi-family rental properties as well as construction management & consulting – all within Monmouth County. Owned and operated by local investors, Monmouth County Living is the brand under which we manage our growing portfolio.
Thomas J Murray (TJ)
Investments
TJ Murray has been an entrepreneur most his adult life. Some time after completing his undergraduate degree, he founded Punta Cana Tours, a successful online tour operator in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. TJ reinvested his profits from this venture almost exclusively in rental properties, first in Punta Cana and then in Monmouth County. Since moving back to the U.S., TJ has been focused solely on real estate as an investor and property manager.
TJ holds an MBA but has found that his practical experience as an entrepreneur and investor has benefited him most in his current role. A life-long learner with 20+ years of hands-on business and investment exposure, TJ most enjoys finding and negotiating off market real estate deals.
When TJ isn’t crunching real estate numbers he’s mostly occupied with fatherhood; but when his kids permit he’s fishing, hiking or simply enjoying the great outdoors. He has lived on three different continents , visited dozens of countries and speaks fluent Spanish. Born and raised in Middletown, NJ, TJ currently resides in the Atlantic Highlands with his wife and two children.
Frank D’Arpa
Construction Management
Frank D’Arpa has been representing developers, businesses, building and property owners, in the NY/NJ Metropolitan area for 20+ years to ensure their projects run smoothly from site acquisition to completion. Frank is experienced in construction and renovations of – commercial offices, restaurants, retail spaces, residential and multi-unit sites, as well as industrial and hospitality properties.
Frank is basically our in-house construction expert who knows how to manage boots on the ground and obtain the necessary approvals, from local building departments, to keep projects running smoothly from beginning to end. In other words, Frank’s the guy we rely on to manage the job and get it done!
Outside the office you’ll find Frank spending time with his family or planning fun adventures with his kids. He has a passion for coaching/teaching and is always ready to volunteer time for his son’s sports. A Monmouth County local since childhood, Frank currently resides in Lincroft with his wife and three sons.
